“Villa Sostaga” is surrounded by an uncontaminated park of 40 hectares, on the top of a splendid panoramic hill just a few minutes from Gargnano (7.5km) and dominates one of the most beautiful and exclusive corners of Lake Garda.
The building dates back to the end of the 19th century, when Count Giuseppe Feltrinelli decided to create a hunting residence, then transformed it into a summer residence for the aristocratic family.
In 2005, the Seresina family inaugurated the first 4-star Boutique Hotel by the Lake, with a total of 19 fascinating bedrooms and suites furnished with great elegance and characterized by the furnishings, colours and details that make it unique, without foregoing the incomparable views of the lake or luxuriant park. The philosophy that inspired the creation of “Villa Sostaga” was the desire to offer its guests a quiet and relaxing environment that makes them feel at home, without renouncing the comforts of a luxury hotel.
Just a few metres from the Villa, the ‘Dépendance’ guest house “Meridiana”, completely renovated in 2008 and with centuries of hospitality tradition, also hosts guests and provides restoration. Its bedrooms are all large, from 25 to 40 square metres.
The panoramic residence gives visitors a unique spectacle of lights and colours, which change constantly from one minute to the next…Under the shade of pine trees and lime/linden trees and surrounded by the fragrance of flowers, you will be enchanted by the wonder of this place. On the terrace or in the garden – with swimming pool, gazebo and little portico – listen to nature…and the silence…enjoying excellent Italian food and wine.
Warmed by the light of candles and the antique fireplaces, the Sala Liberty and Saletta Clara are also enchanting areas where you can savour tasty recipes in a romantic, refined environment. The cosy Cantina/Taverna holds over 200 selected wines, whose rest is only disturbed for tastings, accompanied by the flavours of traditional cold cuts and cheeses from Garda.
