"Palazzo Gattini" is a luxury hotel in the historic center of Matera. Under the skillful eye of important architects the Palace has been elegantly restored from a historic home that was the residence of the oldest noble family in Matera. The original structure is well preserved.
The interior presents an environment that is rich and detailed. Every nuance has been given careful though and attention: the lighting, materials, colors… Everything combines to create an intimate and domestic atmosphere in harmony with the color of the limestone that dominates the old city center.
20 Luxury rooms: 5 suites, 3 junior suites and 12 Deluxe. Equipped with the most modern and luxurious facilities such as, for example: internet access, satellite TV and much more.
The old chapel was adapted to host the meeting room that can accommodate up to 50 people.
The restaurant "Schiuma al Duomo,” is elegant and simple and offers the traditional Apulian cuisine revisited in a modern way, with great attention to the choice of raw foods.
The SPA at Palazzo Gattini is the perfect place to indulge in taking care of your mental and physical wellbeing. There are different massage programs and two different paths to choose from: dry and wet.

His Opinion: Beautiful property structure and friendly helpful staff.
Spa treatments were quite below average for a luxury property. Room service menu below average for a luxury property. Hotel needs to have PDF with instructions and map for guests arriving my private car.
